Posted on December 25, 2022December 25, 2022 By blackmetaltv No Comments on BLACKMETALTV top 6 black metal albums of 2022

Another year is gone faster than ever! during 2022 we saw some 10s of hot and evil black metal releases. But, here are Blackmetaltv Picks for this year best black metal albums.

-BLACKMETALTV LIST-

#6 Naa skrider natten sort by DJEVEL :

Seventh full length in 10 years for DJEVEL. In which they offers us a twilight dive in the middle of the Norwegian forests on these five long tracks accompanying our wandering by the light of a flaming torch almost extinguished by the constant blizzard. Nothing new in short but we know why we came to get lost in it.

#5 Vande Mataram by Dressed in Streams :

First year listening to this band, and i must say that they bring something different to the scene. A roaring blast of blackened blurry noise guitar drone interspersed with tremolo guitar and clear-toned guitar riffs…

#4 Trespasser Idol of Fear :

A mixture of extreme metal genres which is not so new but which hits the mark. Combining extreme coldness and sinisterness, Trespasser offers black metal with a unique immersive atmosphere, focusing on slowness but also on very good melodies supported by powerful dynamics piercing its apparent opacity. An excellent listen.

#3 Untitled I/II by Rejoice! The Light Has Come :

Rejoice! The Light Has Come is an American avant-garde black metal band from West Virginia, USA. Atmospherically this release is dark, depressive and experimental… Excellent discovery.

#2 Ancient Evil Spirits by Hexerei :

Hexerei will indeed come to rub shoulders here with this frenzy, intensity and religious fervor that characterize all the work of the band. This mimicry, the trio maintains it in the first place thanks to this saturated, abrasive and incendiary production which will make our eardrums bleed with each riff, possessed and distant howl and other thrust thrown by the Finnish trio…

#1 Mirage by Gaerea :

Far from the BASICs of black metal with its mythological or anti-religious and satanic flights, Mirage is considered to be a concept album whose main themes are: isolation, suffering and uncertainty. Which is more related to the death metal scene…
